Nigori Yuzu and Frozen Yogurt

Nigori is a style of sake with a milky sediment,
which consist of rice bits and Koji and has lots of yeast and undissolved protein. 
To enjoy this rich and creamy texture the sake has been passed through a special coarse-mesh filter.
There is a Yuzu citrus infused Nigori liquor 
which is excellent as a digestive or as an alternative to dessert  but do try it with frozen yoghurt. 
Just pour it over the frozen yogurt before you eat.
It'll add a refreshing edge and milky texture to it.  

​濁り酒とはもろみを上層(もろみを圧搾濾過して酒と酒粕に分離する事)する時に、
目の粗い網あるいは布などで濾過した白濁した清酒の事をさします。
ボトルの底に白濁してみえる​沈殿物はお米と麹で、不溶性のタンパク質や酵母から成り立っています。
​柚子の果実を足して作られたゆず濁り酒がありますが、食後酒やデザートの代わりとしてそれだけでもおいしいのですが、フローズンヨーグルトにかけてみて下さい。
柚子の爽やかな香りとそのミルキーな食感が加わって、また一味違った大人の味わいになります。
